Privacy Policy

GradeQuest — Last updated: May 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GradeQuest collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. GradeQuest is designed for families: a parent or guardian creates an account, and their child practices using it. We are committed to handling all information responsibly and in compliance with applicable law, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not sell your information. The app contains no third-party advertisements.

2. How We Use This Information

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

GradeQuest is used by children, and we take their privacy seriously. All accounts are created by a parent or guardian who must confirm during sign-up that they are 18 years of age or older and are creating the account on behalf of their child. Account creation is not possible without this confirmation.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The account holder (parent or guardian) provides any personal information (such as the learner’s first name and grade) on behalf of the child. We collect only what is necessary to operate the practice experience.

Firebase Analytics, which we use for aggregate usage data, does not receive the child’s name, email, or any other personally identifiable information from us.

Parental rights: If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information about your child, or if you wish to review, correct, or delete information associated with your account, you may do so at any time:

5. Data Retention and Deletion

To delete your account: open Account in the app, tap Delete my account, confirm your password, and follow the steps. All cloud data associated with that account is permanently removed. If you need assistance, contact us via Support.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit, and rely on Google Firebase’s industry-standard security infrastructure for data at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of GradeQuest after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle information, please contact us at support@gradequest.org, via the Support page, or use the Support button within the app. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
